1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Join us for a beautiful Muslim wedding ceremony and a chance to experience an important part of local culture. Guests are kindly asked to wear attire that covers their arms and legs. Women should also bring a scarf or cloth to cover their hair while inside the mosque.
After the ceremony, there will be some delicious light bites to enjoy and time to mingle. This event is completely optional. If you'd prefer, you can instead join a guided tour of one of Maputo's historic neighborhoods and explore the city's rich culture and history. Transportation will be provided for both options, so all you need to do is choose! ✨
1:30 pm - 11:45 pm
This is your chance to get fancy! Mozambicans traditionally dress up for weddings as a sign of respect and celebration, so don't be shy about bringing a little extra glamour. One small note: the ceremony will be held on a grassy lawn, so choose your footwear wisely. If your shoes can survive a stroll through a garden and still make it to the dance floor, you're on the right track.
Once the vows are done, the party begins! We'll stay at the same venue for dinner, drinks, dancing, and a night of celebration. We can't wait to celebrate with you! ✨🥂🌿💕
12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
This event is all about relaxing, unwinding, and soaking up a few more special moments together—so wear whatever makes you happy and comfortable!
This brunch will also represent our Chigiani, a Mozambican tradition that marks the bride's send-off to her new home after the wedding. Traditionally, it takes place at the bride's family home, but we're putting our own spin on things and hosting it at ours. Come enjoy good food, great company, and one last round of wedding festivities before everyone heads home. We'd love to spend a little more time laughing, reminiscing, and celebrating with all of you. We can't think of a better way to wrap up an unforgettable weekend! ☕💕✨
