The Museum of Flight has the space shuttle which was previously used for training. It is the only one in the U.S. where guests are allowed to go inside. Highly recommended for space nerds!
Seattle Aquarium
Great for kids and adults too! They have tide pools where you can touch the animals. Don't forget to check out the brand new Manta Ray and Shark Exhibit!
Whale Watch Tour - Outer Island X
Anacortes just and hour and a half from Seattle is a great place to see whales, this whale watch guarantees you'll see one, or you'll get another free trip. Make sure to buy tickets in advance!
Kayaking - Northwest Outdoor Center
If you love the water you can rent kayaks here to paddle Lake Union or even into Lake Washington. This is a great family run business I have supported for many years. Dan and the rest of the staff are very friendly people.
