FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the size of our home, only the names listed on the invitations will be accommodated for. If there are any clarifications needed regarding the names on your invitation please reach out to us directly.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of street parking available near our home, however, carpooling is always encouraged!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want everyone to be comfortable. Pink and green color schemes are encouraged!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to the size of our home we encourage those with children to plan for childcare for the day. If you are unable to find childcare, please message us directly!

Question

Can someone pick me up from the airport?

Answer

Sorry! To successfully organize and manage our wedding weekend, we are unable to pick anyone up from SEATAC or BLI. Please utilize shuttle services, ride share apps, and carpooling. There is one Flix bus per day from SeaTac leaving at 6:30pm https://www.flixbus.com/

Question

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

As soon as possible! Bellingham summers are the best! This means many hotels will be booked out. Please note the Cascade Bike Club RSVP Bike Ride occurs during the same weekend as our wedding - this may cause nearby hotels to be booked out sooner than other options further from our home. We blocked 10 rooms at Four Points Sheraton ($169/night) and 10 suites at SpringHill Suites ($179/night).

Question

Will dinner be provided?

Answer

Our wedding is going to be a very DIY event. It's a potluck style picnic! We will provide snacks and beverages and cake, you bring appies, mains, salads and sides. Bring something you love and share! There won't be space to cook or prepare, so make sure its totally ready to serve. Don't forget a serving dish and serving utensils! (Pro-tip - put your name on them in case they get left)

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

A picnic potluck dish (appie, side, salad or main) that is fully prepared (there is no space for chopping or cooking or assembling), serving utensils, a lawn chair or blanket, a jacket in case it gets chilly, and lots of love!
