Shanae and Kela grew up next door to each other and practically lived at one another’s houses. Described as short, smart, and sweet (with an emphasis that short does not mean weak!), Shanae has always been a source of strength and resilience. Their favorite childhood memories include their unforgettable Cheetah Girls era, and even though miles separate them now, they always find time for each other. Kela is beyond grateful to have Shanae as her Maid of Honor.

James and Will met in school. They both love being outdoors and hitting the gym. James is known as the quiet and calm one out of their circle of friends. He is always down for the ride. His steady presence and loyalty make him the perfect best man to stand by Will's side on this special day.

Nicki is Kela's hānai sister. They grew up together, spent countless weekends at the beach playing mermaids and paddle boarding, and recently discovered their shared love (and identical taste) in books. Nicki is funny, generous, and outgoing. She's the kind of person who brings joy everywhere she goes. Kela is so grateful to have her by her side on this special day.

Keola & Will met at work. They found that they had common interests like their trucks and the career that they chose. Will's favorite memory with Keola is when they were working on Lānaʻi and they took the gator rambling to the lay down. That is also the time where Will tried to learn how to drive stick. Turns out, he wasn't the best at it so Keola was the one to drive everywhere. Will is so excited to have him here on this special day.

Lawehe and Kela met in college and have been inseparable since. From beach days to late night cruises, she's always been Kela's partner in crime and down for the ride. Known as the calm but witty one of the group, Lawehe brings the perfect balance of fun and steady energy. Kela couldn't imagine going through this day without her.

Cody is Kela's cousin from Hilo, and he and Will hit off right from the start. Easy-going and always down for the ride, Cody brings a laid-back energy and sense of fun to every adventure. Will's favorite memory with Cody is from Merrie Monarch 2024. Kela was competing so Cody hung out with Will and James. As they were watching the competition they gave hula backbends a try and it was the funniest thing they ever did together. Kela and Will are so grateful to have him standing with them on this special day.

Bobbie & Kela first met in high school, but their bond grew closer during their senior year. They bonded over their love for hula and volleyball, and one of Kela’s favorite memories is their Senior Class Trip—along with discovering they’re both big Disney fans. Confident, outgoing, and always the life of the party, Bobbie brings energy and laughter wherever she goes. Kela is so excited to have her vibrant spirit as part of this special day.

Ryan and Will met in high school. From hitting the beach, playing video games or cruising around the island, Ryan has been along for the adventure. They're so similar in every way, even getting mistaken for being twins. Ryan is Will's partner in crime, ride or die, and is always up for a good time. Will is very excited to have Ryan by his side for this special day.

Cierra & Kela also met in college and now dance hula together in Hālau o Ka Hanu Lehua. Cierra has always been someone Kela looks up to, admired for her confidence and natural ability to lead. From dinner nights and late nights working on school projects to now carpooling to hula practice, Cierra has been a constant presence, experiencing life right alongside her. Kela is deeply grateful to have Cierra's strength and grace standing with her on such a meaningful day.

Jarrett & Will met through mutual friends. Jarrett is one of the more adventurous one out of the group. Will and Jarrett liked going to the beach and hitting up new body boarding spots. He used to take Ryan and Will out to eat at the most random places to eat but it always ended up being a fun time. Will is thankful to have him as one of his groomsmen.

Hauʻoli and Kela also met in college through Kela's roommates. Hauʻoli has always inspired Kela to reach for the stars and persevere through any obstacle and is one of the most sincere, supportive, and grounded people in Kela's life. Although she's an island away, they always make time for each other, even if their calls can last for hours. Kela is very grateful to have her for this special day.

Tee and Kela met while working at Ululani's together and quickly formed a bond that’s only grown stronger over time. A true go-with-the-flow kind of person, Tee is always down for whatever and will ride just as hard for the people she loves. Even though they no longer work together, they always make time for each other—often finding themselves on spontaneous adventures along the way. Kela is so thankful to have Tee by her side on this special day.

Edmon is Will's cousin and one of his earliest partners in fun. Growing up as the only boy in his house, Will often rode his bike over to Edmon's place for a much-needed break from all the "estrogen" at home. Their favorite pastime has always been playing video games together with Edmon's brother Matthew. Edmon's presence has been an anchor in Will's life, and it means so much to have him here on this special day.
