Things To Do

We're so excited to share our favorite spots and things to do on Maui.

Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice - Kihei

61 South Kihei Road, Kihei, HI 96753
, 808-877-3700

This particular Ululani’s shop holds a very special place in our hearts — it’s where Kela & Will first met. Will’s go-to shave ice order is blue vanilla with vanilla ice cream. While Kela isn’t usually a shave ice eater, her favorite is the “Nō Kā ʻOi” combo with mango, coconut, and lilikoʻi, finished with a haupia cream topping.

Iao Valley

HI 96793

ʻĪao is a go-to spot for Kela & Will on hot days or whenever they want a break from the “city.” This lush freshwater valley can be cool even on the warmest days. Cell service is limited, so please take care when walking down to the streams.

Black Rock Beach

Lahaina, HI 96761

As one of the most popular spots on the West Side, this is a place Kela & Will spent a lot of time together. Relax on the beach, soak up the sun, or swim out to the rock for a jump if you’re feeling adventurous. Whalers Village is just nearby, making it easy to do a little shopping or grab a bite to eat before or after your beach day.

Maui Ocean Center, The Aquarium of Hawaii

192 Māʻalaea Road, Wailuku, HI 96793
, 808-270-7000

Whenever Kela & Will have family or friends visiting, this is always a must-stop for us. Maui Ocean Center showcases Hawaiʻi’s incredible marine life and is an easy, family-friendly activity. Kamaʻāina pricing is available with a Hawaiʻi State ID, along with up to five hours of free parking.

Haleakala National Park

HI

Haleakalā National Park offers breathtaking views from the summit above the clouds. We recommend going up for sunset — it’s just as stunning as sunrise, but without the need for reservations, making it a more relaxed and accessible experience.
