Her Story: Anthony and I originally met in the Ralph Lauren Factory store in Mebane, NC while we were both shopping and happened to end up at the same store. We spoke but it wasn’t until the second met up that we would actually hit it off. It was at a local sorority and fraternity meet and greet that Anthony and I would get to know each other better and start dating. Anthony dated me for a year before he decided to ask me to be his girlfriend and we have been dating ever since 11 years ago. His Story: Honestly, I go back and forth on the exact location of where we first crossed paths because little does Key know I had eyed her multiple times prior to but never made the first move. It was something about her vibe that always intrigued me but I could never put my finger on it. She would always have a bob cut or her hair out naturally while wearing a pair of pink uggs. However, if memory serves me right our first awkward encounter happened while shopping for the same Polo Boots at the Ralph Lauren store in Tanger Outlets. When I saw the pink uggs, I immediately knew it was her :). Little did I know, she kept multiple pairs (I would find this out later lol). We noticed each other and sparked conversation briefly but kept things very cordial. Within the next couple weeks, there had been a Fraternity & Sorority kickback scheduled at her place where we could get to meet each other as my brothers and I had just crossed Kappa. From that point forward, we grew a liking to each other and became very close friends. We stayed strictly friends for over a year until we really started to take things seriously. 11 years later and here we are with a beautiful baby girl, living in California, and taking the next step in our lives.

The proposal happened at our house in California on 4/27/2021. Anthony was trying to get Kejuana to Castillo Di Amorosa (vineyard in Napa Valley) all day but she was traveling to NC later that day and didn't have the time. Kejuana noticed Anthony was entering our house through the front door which seemed weird. They always use the back door because it is located closer to the street. Kejuana went to tell Anthony she was ready to leave for the airport and then noticed tulip flowers and Veuve Clicquot on the counter. Anthony instantly jumped into it …. He pulled the burgundy ring box out of his Saint Laurent waist bag and asked Kejuana to spend the rest of her life with him.
