We met on a chilly Saturday morning at the New York Public Library, when we both reached for the same copy of "War and Peace." Our hands touched, our eyes met, and we fell in love at first sight. Oh, wait. Shoot. That’s the version we tell our grandparents. Sorry, sorry. This is our wedding website. Look away, Grandma. We met on Hinge. In April 2023, after a day or two of writing letters back and forth (I mean DMing on an app), we set up our first date. That date then had to be pushed back a few days because Keith fractured his jaw and broke a molar doing jiu jitsu and was afraid if we met when the entire right half of his face was swollen, Harley would think he was a catfish. He was right. When we did have our first date, our lives immediately changed forever. Within about 24 hours after meeting in person, we agreed we wanted to be exclusive. Our second date was the day after our first date, even though at the time we met Harley was juggling her 9-5 job and performing in a musical off-Broadway eight times a week and Keith was jugging his 9-5 job while also being in classes for grad school. Once we met, we couldn’t spend enough time together and even with our insane schedules, we always found time. After knowing that what we had was special from the first date, it only took us about two weeks to start making plans for our future together, knowing that a stint of long distance and other life events were on the horizon. If our memories serve us, we are pretty sure we acknowledged that we wanted to marry each other before we even called each other boyfriend and girlfriend. When you know you know, folks. Since meeting, we’ve gotten to experience a life together filled with so much joy, so much laughter, so much peace, and most importantly, so much time with the other love of our life, our dog, Kush. We have been back together in New York City since the September 2024 and enjoying all our favorite things, Central Park with the dog, going to the movies, getting Dim Sum regularly, spending time with our friends and families, and our morning Dunkin runs. On Valentine’s Day 2025, Keith proposed to Harley at 8am to ensure she was disoriented enough to be surprised (per Harley’s request for a private and surprising proposal). It was the most special day of our lives thus far. We cannot wait to celebrate with you in one of our shared favorite places, Nashville, on August 8, 2026!
