Maid of Honor
My sissy poooo! Tiana, better known as “Tee” is my “slightly” older sister. Growing up people always mistook us for twins because of how close we are (and how tall I am lol). She’s quite literally my right hand and I look up to her in so many ways. Best Maid of honor in the worlddd! I seriously don’t know what I’d do without her.
Bridesmaid
My bestieee! Kayla is my best friend of 18 years! We met the summer going into our freshman year of high school and have been locked in ever since! Her daughter, Myla, is actually one of our flower girls. She’s been there for me through thick and thin, I truly cherish our friendship/sisterhood.
Bridesmaid
Swaceyyyy! My eldest sissy (otherwise known as our mother’s twin)! I’m truly blessed to have not one, but two sisters that love and care for me so deeply. As the youngest sibling, I’ve always admired her vibrant personality, confidence and ability to be herself, unapologetically.
Bridesmaid
Pipeee! Trini to di boneee! We met in high school through Tiana (they’re best friends). I guess I didn’t annoy them too much since they let me hang around lol. Over the many years, we’ve developed a sisterhood and bond that I cherish. As she travels the world, she’s definitely teaching me to live life to the fullest!
Bridesmaid
Sierraaaa! My ray of sunshine! We ALSO met in high school (a common theme here lol), reconnected in 2020 when I started doing her hair and haven’t looked back since! She has such a bright light and beautiful smile that’s noticed in every room she enters. I’m grateful for such a genuine and loving friendship.
Bridesmaid
CC! My niece-in-love! Cierra is Derron’s oldest niece. Even though we’ve only known each other for a few years, it feels like it’s been longer. We clicked instantly and developed a beautiful friendship. She’s so full of life and very driven, I admire that about her!
Best Man
Since the 6th grade (Jay), has been like a brother from another mother. As life has tested me and offered its challenges, I could always count on him to make sure that I remember what’s important; family and being able to meet people where they are in life.
Groomsman
Dwayne, my big brother, has always been a role model for me in life. He’s always ensured that I stayed grounded with God and that I remain joyful of the relationships I create. I can always depend on his ability to role model what it’s like to be a great father, big brother, and man of God. I look up to him in many ways and seek to be as grounded as he is one day.
Groomsman
Devin, My oldest nephew has motivated in ways he couldn’t imagine. I will always remember finding out that he would enter this world, and envisioning the great responsibility I would have to ensure that I’m a great uncle to him and his fellow cousins. Devin not only is my oldest nephew, but represents all of my nephews, who inspire purpose, and act as motivation for ensuring that I am the best version of myself. Devin has always showed the greatest amount of patience and care for his loved one’s, and I can only appreciate the glimpse of the man he will be one day.
Groomsman
Vard, Has always demonstrated loyalty in our friendship. I’ve known him for a very long time (20+ years), and can truly say that our friendship stands the test of time. No matter where life takes us, we can always pick up the phone as it was if we just spoke yesterday. He’s a great father, but even a better friend. We can always enjoy a good laugh and good fellowship.
Groomsman
Earnest, Ever since Earnest started dating my niece many years ago, our friendship has just aged like fine wine. We always enjoy a moment of laughs, fellowship, and empowerment. I can honestly say that I have nothing but appreciation for his ability to value the subtle things in life. From our friendship, I’ve learned to seize the day and appreciate memories.
Groomsman
Eddis, Has been like an another big brother to me. We met a work and have never stopped checking in to encourage and empower each other. We always have a good time clowning and catching up. He has never judged but only offered up encouragement it my weakest moments. Reminding me how to laugh, love, and handle my business as a man in today’s world.
