5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Clothing is recommended. Who cares what you are wearing? Just come celebrate with us.
Yes, we are having the reception first. Its all of the marriage parties rolled into one. We will be dressed up and picture ready. A bouquet will be thrown. Toasts will be made. We just need all of you awesome people to come by and send us on our way. It could be a quick hug after work or a full on evening together. We aren't expecting people to travel far and we certainly won't be offended if you aren't there. Aside from the tux and the dress, this is very informal. If you can easily make it, great! If not, think happy thoughts for us. This is a no stress, all happy event. We are planning to meet in the lobby for drinks and pictures then move upstairs for cake and snacks and more drinking and photo taking. Eventually we will probably shoo everyone out and turn on the privacy light for the night at which point I hope you all keep having fun and taking pictures to show us later. Laughter is a must. THAT is how we want to begin our marriage. Friends, family, and laughter...
5:00 pm - 5:15 pm
The ceremony it's self is going to be very quiet. Just Terry, myself, our kids, and the officiant. That's why the reception is important. It's going to be all of the celebrating rolled into one! We will be all dressed up and photo ready. The wedding cake will be served and toasts will be made. Probably a little roasting as well. Maybe some dancing...there are several venues to choose from. I expect we will try a few of them before the night is over. Its an awkward time of day for a lot of people (but super handy for my Tulalip family) and for those of you who don't already know there are multiple bars and several different food choices right there as well. Oh..and a casino. lol!
