We love your kids! However, if you are local please take the night as an opportunity for a babysitter and have fun with us! If you are traveling from out of town and need to bring your children with you, feel free to bring them to the ceremony and reception. FYI - the venue is a working farm and we will not provide childcare. *If you bring children, please keep an eye on them as there are many hazards (including a pond and other farm equipment).
The ceremony will start at 4pm. Please note from 3:15pm - 3:50pm there will be a cocktail half-hour to allow guests to grab a beverage, mingle, and explore the venue prior to taking their seats.
Yes, there is a large parking lot at the venue. There is also Uber available, if needed. However, if you plan on drinking and are staying at the DoubleTree Hilton in Chico we suggest you utilize our shuttle from the Chico hotel to the venue (and return). Please see the shuttle FAQ for specifics.
The shuttle will pick up anyone who wants to utilize the service at DoubleTree Hilton in Chico (our hotel block) at 2:15pm. There is only 1 shuttle running to the venue prior to the ceremony. The shuttle will have 2 options to return to the DoubleTree in Chico - 9:15pm or 10:40pm. There is a max capacity of 56 people on the shuttle, so please keep that in mind when choosing your return time.
We will not be requiring guests to pay for their drinks, but the bartender is a good friend of ours and is amazing at what he does! Please leave some love for him (i.e., tips) if you can! We will have his/hers signature cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Our wedding will be cocktail attire - please no jeans! The venue is almost all outdoors and mid-September can be warm (80º-90º). As the date gets closer keep an eye on the weather to know if a coat may be needed at night!
In lieu of a catered dinner we will have E&J's Burritos (food truck)!
