Mother of the Bride
My sweet mother has been there for me through every. single. phase of life. Without her, I wouldn't even be here today as the woman I've grown into that gets to marry the love of my life. Now that I've gotten older, when people tell me I remind them of my mom I see it as such a compliment because she is the coolest lady I've ever met. My favorite memories with my mom include me playing cards with her in bed, so many fun travels and experiences together, live music, and having her there as my biggest cheerleader for plays, cheer competitions, school dances, graduations, promotions, and all the milestone moments that have come with now being a bride. She truly is one of my closest friends, and it's just the cherry on top that she's also my mom. She is known by many as someone who has a fun/friendly personality, she's a boss lady in her career, she loves loudly, and she loves to serve people. I'm so thankful I get to have her here for the wedding!
Father of the Bride
Growing up, I always was a daddy's girl through and through. My dad was so sweet and loving with me, and we had so much fun together. As I've gotten older, he has always remained the same in the sense that I can count on him being there for me however I need him to. He always shows up, says yes, and finds a way to make it work without ever complaining, which is something I so appreciate in him. My favorite memories with my dad include going to zoos and museums in the summers with him and the other Kuntz boys (being the only girl in this dynamic was fun), bonding over our mutual love for Harry Potter and old music, him being the reason why I love reading books and storytelling, and him teaching me in detail about a war he learned everything about that occurred in 1912 in a country I've never heard of. My dad is so intelligent, patient, and loving and I'm so excited to have him with me at the wedding!
Mother of the Groom
Most of the self discipline that I have now as a grown man is thanks to my mom. She lead by example in teaching us kids that nothing is impossible, and that if you set a goal and want it badly enough, hard work will get you there. She has always been there whenever I needed her, and been present in all aspects of my life. My favorite memories with my mom include Black Friday shopping with her in the middle of the night, something that at the time I didn't love, but looking back now I'm really grateful for that time with her. On our family roadtrips, she was always our planner and I have her to thank for planning a lot of wonderful experiences I got to have as a kid. Now as an adult, I love many things about her, but a few include watching her get to finally have Keila as a girl in her life, traveling together, and coming home for any event or holiday knowing my mom will have prepared all my favorite treats for me because she knows I love it. I'm forever grateful for the stability she provided in my life, and the love she gives to myself and to others.
Father of the Groom
My dad is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Growing up, he taught me so much about how to be respectful, how to be a gentleman, have good character, and he was the leader in demonstrating how to have manners and be kind. My dad has always been there for me when I needed him, as well as when I didn't need him, but he was there for me nonetheless just in case I did. When I reflect on my earlier years in life, I reminisce on how he was my football coach, playing catch together, he was the pilot on our roadtrips as a family, and he would take me to get fast food secretly without my mom knowing (but she always did), and he showed up in every aspect of my life. My favorite memory with my dad by far is skiing with him, his ability to ski was like a knife to butter. Now that I'm older, I'm so lucky that we share so many hobbies and interests. In a lot of ways, I am the man that I am today because of him, and I see that he would sacrifice anything for this family which is something I really admire.
Matron of Honor
Shay is my big sister, and we've been talking about her being my Matron of Honor someday since I was a little girl! My sister has been there for me for every major milestone I've had in life. Some of my earliest memories with Shay include sneaking into her room to try on her clothes when she wasn't home, hanging out with her and her friends whenever she had to babysit me, and her always including me in her family with her daughters. I'm so excited to have her with me on my wedding day, and so lucky to have such a strong, wickedly smart, witty, hilarious woman as my big sister! My favorite thing about Shay is that she always brings the fun energy to any social event, she really knows how to elevate the room and I'm so excited to have her next to me during this chapter!
Bridesmaid
Lexi and I met many years ago through her husband Bridger, who I went to high school with. Since then, Lexi has easily become one of my closest friends! We have really been there for each other through life's highs and lows, and I'm so grateful for her. Some of my favorite memories with Lexi include traveling to Mexico together (once for Lexi's wedding, and once for a friend group trip), talking about life over espresso martinis/happy hour, camping, and making each other laugh until we cry. My favorite thing about Lexi is that she is the most kind, patient, loving friend you'll ever have. She is always thinking about others, and is known by many as a precious person. I'm so excited to have her with me on the big day!
Bridesmaid
I met Kayla back in college when she was doing lash extensions for my Mom and I! Kayla quickly became a part of the family, and my favorite memories with her include her attending our family trips to Miami and Key West, sitting by the pool and laughing/spending time together, playing monopoly deal at happy hours, and catching up on life while I'm in her chair. My favorite thing about Kayla is that she is always there for you. She is the most fun to celebrate with, and if she is going to be in attendance, you know it's going to be a good time. She's been around for most of my major milestones in my life, and I could not be more grateful to have her with me at the wedding!
Bridesmaid
I was introduced to Felicia through some mutual friends years ago, and I knew instantly upon meeting her that I was going to get along well with that girl. My favorite memories with Felicia include nights out on the town, concerts, endless happy hours, weekend trips, and just hanging out at each other's apartments. My favorite thing about Felicia is that she is such a loyal and devout friend. She is my go to girl for hour long phone calls, sometimes longer, and her sense of humor is unmatched. Felicia has truly been there for me in ways I can't even describe since I met her, and I just adore her! Felicia is also getting Married in December this year, so I feel so lucky that we get to be there for each other through this next chapter!
Bridesmaid
I met Jess through one of Taylor's friend's/groomsmen from college, Eli. Jess and I clicked very quickly when Eli brought her around, and I was always looking forward to group events if I knew Jess would be there. Over the years, we grew closer and developed a friendship of our own, and I'm so grateful to have gotten to know and love this incredible girl! My favorite memories include going to yoga sculpt classes every week, slip and sliding with Jess in her backyard at her legendary summer parties, and her introducing me into the world of reading romantic fantasy books. She is so selfless towards the people she loves, and also self assured in a way I deeply admire and love. I can't wait to have her with me at the wedding!
Bridesmaid
I met Kelly back in the first grade when my family moved into our new neighborhood in Sapphire Point, and she knocked on my front door and asked if I wanted to play with her. She lived at the top of the street, and we hung out pretty much everyday and went to the same school. My favorite memories with her include playing American girl dolls in her basement, and arguing over who got to be Gabriella in our rendition of High School Musical, because we both had brown hair. Since then, our friendship looks like reminiscing about our childhood memories, chatting about life over dinners, and taking her daughter Hayley to the Zoo. This girl has known so many versions of me and I can't wait to have her at the wedding!
Best Man
Out of the 3 of us boys, Kyle is our middle brother. One thing about Kyle, is that he's a little too smart for his own good, and I say that with love as an older brother because he's also taught me a lot in life. He will always give it to you straight because he values honesty and transparency which is hard to come by in other people sometimes. He is down for pretty much anything, and we definitely have a good time laughing together whatever it is. Kyle is not a complainer, even when he's so sick and feels like he's dying; something I really appreciate about him because he is one of the most reliable people I've ever known. Some of my favorite memories with Kyle include golfing together, fishing together, in line hockey as well as hockey in the basement using a piece of plywood as a goal, and mountain biking together. Now that we're older, we have a lot in common and share mutual interests so I love being able to do things we both love together.
Best Man
Ryan is the youngest brother out of the 3 of us boys. Ryan is perhaps the only McEntee that got blessed with the ability to put himself out there. He is the most willing to try new things, be in front of a crowd, he's loving in nature, and he's not afraid of rejection because he is not concerned with what other people have to say about him. His ability to put himself out there and advocate for himself is incredible to see as his older brother, and it's the thing I admire the most about him. Some of my favorite memories with Ryan include doing gymnastics together, taking him to Meow Wolf in Denver just us two before he left for college, tuning into the radio show he hosted in college, and introducing him to movies and video games that he was probably too young to learn about. Ryan and I also share similar interests, which has been really fun especially as we've gotten older.
