It's a fantastic way to experience iconic landmarks like Paul Revere's House, Faneuil Hall, and the Old North Church, all while literally walking through centuries of history. To make the most of it, be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes (it's a long walk with some cobblestones!), bring a water bottle, and consider a portable phone charger if you plan on using a self-guided audio tour.
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
For a truly unique and enchanting cultural experience, we highly recommend a visit to The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. This isn't your typical art museum; it's designed to feel like you're stepping into Isabella's opulent Venetian palace, with three floors of galleries surrounding a stunning, plant-filled central courtyard. For a relaxing escape right in the heart of the city, we highly recommend a visit to Boston Common – it's one of Keia and Davis' absolute favorite spots! As America's oldest park, it's a beautiful, sprawling green oasis perfect for a leisurely stroll or a picnic. It's also conveniently located right next to the iconic Massachusetts State House and easily connects to the Public Garden, making it a fantastic starting point for exploring many downtown attractions. It’s an ideal place to stretch your legs and enjoy some fresh air amidst the urban bustle.
Beacon Hill
For a charming glimpse into historic Boston, we highly recommend a stroll through Beacon Hill. This picturesque neighborhood, with its gas-lit streets, federal-style row houses, and stunning architecture, is where Davis lived both during college and when he first met Keia! It's a wonderful place to simply wander, admire the beautiful homes, and discover unique boutiques and cozy restaurants along Charles Street. Don't miss Acorn Street, often called the most photographed street in America, for a truly iconic Boston photo op.
Tatte Bakery & Cafe | Emerson
For anyone looking for an absolutely delightful breakfast, brunch, or coffee break, we can't recommend Tatte Bakery & Café enough – it's one of Keia and Davis's absolute favorite spots in Boston! You'll find a wide array of incredible pastries, delicious coffee, and a full menu of fresh, flavorful dishes with a Mediterranean twist, from shakshuka to unique sandwiches and salads. The best part? There are multiple Tatte locations spread throughout Boston, so you're likely to find one conveniently close no matter where you are. Just be prepared for a bit of a line during peak hours – it's that good!

For beer enthusiasts and curious minds alike, a visit to the Samuel Adams Boston Taproom near Faneuil Hall is a fantastic stop! This vibrant, multi-level taproom showcases the innovation of Sam Adams with 20 draft lines, including exclusive brews you won't find anywhere else. It's a great spot to grab a flight, enjoy some delicious bar snacks, and experience the energy of downtown Boston. To make your visit smooth, remember to bring a valid 21+ ID (they're strict about it!).

For an unforgettable evening with incredible food and a lively atmosphere, we highly recommend Barcelona Wine Bar! This place holds a very special spot in our hearts because it's where we had our first date, and we ended up closing the restaurant down! It's our go-to for delicious Spanish tapas, fantastic wine, and a vibrant, buzzing energy that's perfect for a fun night out. You can find locations in the South End, Brookline, and Cambridge, so there's likely one convenient to wherever you're staying.

For a lively and delicious experience in the vibrant Seaport district, we highly recommend Committee Restaurant! This stylish spot offers an incredible array of Mediterranean mezzes (small plates) perfect for sharing, alongside fantastic cocktails. It holds a special place in our hearts because it's where Keia and Davis went after reconnecting at a wedding. It’s a great choice for a fun night out with fantastic food and a bustling atmosphere.
