The best thing to do in Door County is rent an Air B and B. Though there are many hotel/motel/cabin options, we have found renting on Air B and B/Vrbo to be the biggest bang for your buck.
As the actual day will take place in Sturgeon Bay, we recommend a place in that part of town, but most of Door County (Egg Harbor, Ephraim, Bailey's Harbor, Sister Bay) are all within driving distance.
Having a car is Door County is preferred, but Uber and Lyft are available. There will also be many a carpool opportunity. Talk to your pals or reach out to us if you have questions about this!
The closest airport is Green Bay (1 hour from Sturgeon Bay)
