Why is the wedding in Virginia Beach?

Answer

Virginia Beach is where Randy & Stefani met! The two met while Randy was stationed at the Navy base literally just down the road from Stefani's apartment. Stefani also considers VB her home away from home; having spent the majority of her adult life there. So Virginia Beach holds a special place in the couple's hearts <3

Aren't y'all already married?

Answer

Yep! But as the saying goes, "sharing is caring" and we want to share our nuptials with our loved ones as well. The couple was officially wed at the Virginia Beach courthouse on August 31, 2023 in a fun, informal ceremony. The courthouse wedding date was also the inspiration for the date of the ceremonial wedding, May 31, 2024.

Are children invited to the wedding.

Answer

Although we love our family & friends, including their littles, due to venue restrictions & the vibe of our celebration we are unable to invite children to celebrate with us.

Is there a block of rooms reserved at a certain hotel?

Answer

Given the vast selection of hotels and rental opportunities in the direct & surrounding area, no block of rooms have been reserved.

I have dietary considerations, what will be served at the wedding?

Answer

Dinner will be catered by Q daddy's BBQ, which includes beef brisket, pulled pork, chicken tenders, bacon broccoli salad, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and baked beans. Dessert will include wedding cake & banana pudding. Alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. Please reach out to the couple if you have dietary concerns.

Cocktail hour will have finger food & dinner will be buffet BBQ from one of our favorite local places.

This will be a fairly casual affair with an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. So please dress comfortably and for the weather :)

Answer

There will be an assortment of non-alcoholic & alcoholic beverages available at no cost during the cocktail hour & reception. Our venue & local regulations also allow for BYOB so feel free to bring your favorite beverage(s)! :)
