The Franklin Institute
Science museum with lots of interactive stuff. 5 minute walk from the Logan.
Reading Terminal Market
15 minute walk from the Logan. Bring your elbows and patience on a Saturday afternoon. Get a sandwich from Tommy DiNic's (much better than Pat's or Geno's --we said what we said), and a donut from Beiler's.
Assembly Rooftop Lounge
The rooftop bar of The Logan Hotel! Super awesome views. Food is not why you come, get a drink here, then check out our other recs for food.
Victory Brewing Company Philadelphia
Local beer, full service restaurant and they have a full bar. Right next to the hotel
Monk's Cafe
Other-wordly selection of international beers (including Pliny the Elder on draft). No reservations. You must order food to get a table. 15 minute walk from the Logan.
Parc
Philly's classic french-inspired restaurant open all day, suits all tastes. French onion soup, bread basket, espresso martinis. 15 minute walk from the Logan.
Eastern State Penitentiary
Weird recommendation for a wedding weekend but it's a super cool spot and we go every year for Halloween :) Buy a ticket in advance to go for Halloween Nights, it's not all scary, it's super fun

The Dandelion
British-inspired pub. Super yummy brunch, lunch, afternoon tea service, and dinner. 15 min easy walk from The Logan
Sonny's Cocktail Joint
A regular visit for us. Cocktails in a dive bar atmosphere, what more could you want.
The Ranstead Room
This is our all-time favorite cocktail bar in the city. It's tiny and cozy but so worth the wait. Enter through Ranstead st, which looks like a back alley, and look for the door with the glowing red window. Just trust us.
Bok Bar
A little field trip away from the hotel but a very cool rooftop bar with the best view of the city.
Locust Rendezvous
If the Cheers bar was in Philadelphia. Dive bar with surprisingly good, cheap food and kind but brash servers, just as you would expect.
La Chinesca
Super fun mexican-asian fusion. Used to be a Jiffy Lube. The "On Empty" is Keely's favorite.
Philadelphia Distilling
Take a field trip to Northern Liberties on Saturday afternoon and do the distillery tour! It's actually very fun and you will be in a great mood for the ceremony :)
Angelo's Pizzeria
I literally can't think of a better pre-wedding lunch than a cheesesteak and pizza from Angelo's. The best in the city, you will be standing outside with 20 other people waiting for your order for 20 minutes. You will end up eating it on the sidewalk or a park bench, but it will be worth it. Do not go to Cheesesteak Vegas (Pats/Genos), go here.
