Black tie optional: Long or mid-length elegant dresses and suits are requested; tuxedos are optional. The wedding party will be in long gowns and tuxedos, for reference. We would love for you to have fun dressing your best for this celebration. Please note the ceremony will be outside, weather permitting. There will be grass and cobblestones.
We would love for you to make a weekend out of our wedding! However, if you're planning on being in and out on Saturday, please give ample travel time as you will have to navigate either the Schuylkill Expressway or I-95. If you want to come into the city earlier in the day on Saturday, you can park at the museum and then frolic as you please. See the Things to Do tab at the top for suggestions. If you are staying with us at The Logan, you can check in at 4 pm and a shuttle will take you to the museum! Shuttle schedule TBD. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30, please plan to arrive around 5pm.
Enter through the main entrance of the museum still and we will hold our ceremony and cocktail hour inside.
Have no fear. If you are joining us for the weekend and staying at the Logan, we recommend parking your car there and forgetting about it for the weekend! The Logan has a valet, you can also self-park at a nearby garage for a lower rate. Transportation to and from the rehearsal dinner and wedding will be provided. If you are coming straight to the Penn Museum for the wedding, there is a parking garage right next to the museum for a small fee. No. We will have a child-free event to celebrate our marriage with alcohol and profanity.

Please, no. We have a great photographer who is going to get all the shots and we don't want you to be holding up your iPhone in the pictures you are in :)

The museum will be open for you to explore during our wedding! We think that's really cool :) It is an archeological museum with artifacts from around the world.
