We met in 2011. We were family friends. After a tragedy hit us, our friendship blossomed into an unlikely love story. After several years of dating Jeff had “the talk” with Lauren, Morgan and Reagan. Although this was not the life they had foreseen for our family, they gave him their blessing to ask for my hand in marriage. It was an emotional time for everyone waiting for the big day to arrive. Jeff had arranged a private Gondala ride during our trip to Italy to “pop” the question. So in Venice, after a long flight, sleep deprivation and an amazing first night wondering aimlessly along the streets, Jeff got down on one knee in our Gondola named “Leonardo” and ask me spend the rest of my life with him in marriage….I said YES!
