Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

See the travel page for hotel blocks. The Flying Horse Lodge is the closest to our venue, and the other options in Colorado Springs are ~45 minutes away.

Question

The invitation said something about donkeys? For real?

Answer

YES, donkeys! Rocky Mountain Beverage Burro will be there, with 2 of their super-cute, eminently huggable, and well-dressed donkeys. Ruby Rose and Winnie will be there in their best weddine attire ready to serve you a longneck (or bottled water) at the reception. If you miss out on a photo op here, you're going to hate yourself in the morning. https://beverageburro.com/burro-gallery/

Question

I heard the ceremony is on a hilltop but I'm handicapped (or old, tired, out of shape, crabby, don't drive a 4-wheel drive vehicle, etc.) -- will I be able to get up there?

Answer

You can drive all the way to the top of the hill and park right behind the ceremony site. Even your little front-wheel drive, low-clearance cars will have no issues here. If you think you may have difficulty walking from the parking area to the seating at the ceremony site (it's not far, but if walking is tough for you, it could be a challenge), please reach out to us and let us know, and we'll arrange the Razor to bring you right to your seat.

Question

I have a food allergy, will I be able to eat at the reception?

Answer

The menu is already gluten-free and seed / nut-free. If you need a vegetarian option, or have a different allergy, please note that on your RSVP mail-back card or call us and we'll have it covered for you. No worries!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible but please not later than August 8th!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes -- parking at the ceremony site on top of the hill, and after that, you drive back down to the big barn and there is parking there as well for the reception.

Question

Is that Jen's art on the invitations?

Answer

No, but you're not the first to think so. We picked it because it sort of looks like her style.
