Maid of Honor
Sara and I met through David during my first year of post-grad life and her sophomore year at Mary Washington. While we initially bonded over our love for fashion and cats, our friendship went to a whole new level after she persuaded me to adopt her brother's cat's tuxedo kitten - my baby Matteo. Today, we're proud cat mamas and still love to trade fashion advice and good books over peach wine from Bull Run Winery.
Best Man
Ramon is my brother and we moved everywhere starting from California and ending up in Virginia. Growing up we played a lot of video games (I spent a lot of time watching). All of us siblings may be separated hundreds of miles away from each other, but we're still close-knit together.
Bridesmaid
Savannah and I grew up together, but became friends on a week-long mission trip in Peru and World Youth Day 2013. While in Brazil, I gave Savannah a chocolate bar not realizing it contained gluten, and nearly poisoned her, but that in a way solidified our friendship. A couple years later, Savannah joined me at Mary Washington for my final year and brought me and David together through pre-Shakespeare breakfasts and game nights. Without Savannah, we may never have fallen in love and be celebrating this big day!
Groomsman
Colin is Victoria's brother, and the first person to predict our relationship (about a week before we started dating)! Throughout these past four years, Colin's the only person who can make Victoria the third wheel on our dates, and I'm super excited for him to be my brother.
Bridesmaid
I first met Molly in second grade when we were partnered up together for First Reconciliation, and have been friends ever since! Throughout the next several years, we've bonded over our love of horses, writing and Virginia wines. Molly also persuaded me to visit a small college in Fredericksburg that I'd never heard of before - University of Mary Washington, where I later met my future husband! Even now, we love to meet up for girls dates and enjoy a glass of Virginia wine while talking about our favorite friendship memories.
Groomsman
Coalter and I met freshman year at the University of Mary Washington where we would hang out in the 2nd floor in Bushnell Hall. The following year we became roommates and remained friends since where to talk politics to the oddities of the living in the Shenandoah Valley.
Bridesmaid
I met Sarah when I was apartment hunting in Ashburn and went to visit a potential townhouse near my office, where she was living at the time. Although the townhouse didn't work out for us, Sarah and I became such good friends that we ended up being roommates for two years. Sarah is like the older sister I always wished I had, and though we don't see each other everyday, we always make time to catch up for dinner after work or brunch to catch up on life and our favorite shows.
Altar Server
Liam became my little brother when I was thirteen, and quickly realized he was my twin separated by several years. When David and I announced our engagement, Liam immediately asked to be our altar server - and began researching for the perfect car to take us from the ceremony. He is the sweetest boy in the world, and I'm so blessed to call him my baby brother.
Bridesmaid
Shelby and I met during our freshman year of college and became best friends and roommates for the next three years. Most of my memories of Mary Washington were made with Shelby, from spending cozy nights in our apartment drinking wine and watching rom coms to dancing on rooftop bars listening to live music. I was honored to be at Shelby's side when she married her husband, Nelson, last summer, and I'm so excited for her to be at my side on our big day!
Bridesmaid
Stefanie is David's sister and the second member of the Concepcions I met during our first months of dating. From day one, Stefanie made me feel so welcome in their family, and many of David's and my early memories include visiting her for the best Chinese food in the DMV and exploring Old Town Alexandria together. I love being an auntie and occasional babysitter to her beautiful sons, William and Thomas, and I'm so excited for her to become my sister!
Junior Bridesmaid
Susie is my little sister who has lit up my life with her energy and huge smile for the past eleven years. The first time Susie met David, she begged him not to leave until he joined us for Sweet Frog - a good sign that he was a keeper :) I am so excited for Susie to be at my side during my big day, just as she's been for the past 11 years.
