Maid of Honor
My soulmate, in best friend form! We are actually the same person. Our brains just work the same way! Sarah and I met in elementary school at St. Charles Borromeo in Northeast, but it wasn't until about 5th grade when we became close... when she had to cheat off of me in math class. We held a close friendship throughout school, when she was forced to move to Brainerd for high school, and again in college (even though she never came to visit me at Duluth). Sarah is always in my corner when times get tough, and I know we can rely on each other for life! She gets my quirkiness, as I get hers- but I will always remain the funnier person.

My first friend. At our age it is rare to say you have had a best friend for 29 years- but that's us! Ana and I met at 3 years old, as I was sent to an in-home daycare just 2 houses away from where Ana lived (shout out to our parents for wonderful choices here). This is the same daycare that Ana's cousins were attending- so being the same strong, intelligent gal she is today she would wonder down to play with us. Our whole group went on to pre-school at High 5, then elementary & middle school at St. Charles Borromeo. Our friendship has always held a strong foundation- when you find someone so endearing, warm, and vibrant like Ana, you never let them go!

Disclaimer: Taylor was not a fan of me at our first interaction. We laugh about it now, and I am truly lucky she threw that first impression out the window so we could create a beautiful friendship! Taylor went to Champlin high school with Tanner and is married to Gavin (groomsman & fellow Champlin high Rebel). We became friends only 3 years ago- but it was a piece of the puzzle that just clicked! Cliché to say it feels like we have been besties for life, but it's true. Taylor is the ultimate HYPE woman, support system, and most loving human!

My little mamacita! Te amo mi amiga! Natalie is the only person I know who has her phone set to Spanish- it is the language she studied in college. Natalie and I met in August 2020, when her and now fiancé Jake Doc (groomsman) started dating! Jake is one of Tanners best buds, someone we would always hang with, so I was unbelievably excited for a girlfriend to come along… excited to the point of hugging her before she was able to get out of her car on the night she came over. It’s okay, Natalie matched my enthusiasm perfectly! We will always take our classic piggyback photo together. She is an absolute sweetheart, charismatic, goofball of a gal… we love being goofballs together!

Tanners older sister, firstborn of the Hofdahl fam! I’ll be blunt, as Alexis would be- I didn’t think she liked me for a while. But it just took a few times to warm up, open up that outer shell, to know the most hilarious and ‘to the point’ sister. Being an only child meant I wouldn’t be an aunt until I hopefully married someone with siblings- Alexis made me an aunt and I melted the first time she called me auntie Kiki with the kiddos. You can always count on her for a witty comment, a great appetizer, and a bottle of wine!

Tanners youngest sister! I first met Morgan at Brothers Bar downtown MPLS when Tanner and I were out one night. I think it went well? Morgan is a fierce force of energy, spirited soul, and an extremely thoughtful sister- eager to lend a hand because she knows when I need it. She is the go to gal to liven up any room, always down for an adventure, and will encourage you whenever it’s needed… but especially to get on stage for karaoke.

Tanners middle sister, 2 years younger. Paetyn was also downtown MPLS at Brothers Bar where Tanner and I met up! We were quick to bond over our love of reading WW2 books, all sorts of crafts, and cooking. She taught me to love deviled eggs- her signature dish at any family gathering! Paetyn is immensely kind, calm, nurturing, and caring… with a sharpshooters eye when it comes to beer darts.
