1. When and where should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP on our website by 22/12/2025. You are welcome to RSVP before this date! Please note that if we do not receive your response by 22/12/2025, we will unfortunately assume that you won't be able to attend.

2. What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

3. I can't attend all events - is that okay?

Answer

Of course! Come when you can - just don't forget to RSVP "no" to events you won't be attending.

4. What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests dress in formal attire.

5. What colours should I wear?

Answer

You are welcome to wear any colours of your choice, but we would like to ask that the ladies please avoid wearing shades of blue as the bridesmaids will be wearing blue. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

6. What shoes should I wear?

Answer

The venue has both indoor and outdoor areas and can become a bit damp depending on the weather. We would suggest swapping out the stilettos for a thicker heel!

7. Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and to meet our venue restrictions. Your invitation is addressed to those who are invited. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you.

8. Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We want you to be able to kick back, relax, and celebrate with us, which is why we have decided to have an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements to leave the kids at home.

9. Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the best present of all and we are lucky to have all that we need. However, if you would like to get us a gift, we would appreciate contributions towards our honeymoon fund. Please find banking details below. 10. What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in the Midlands is quite temperamental and can change from sunshine to showers quite quickly. The ceremony and reception are indoors, but depending on the weather, the canapes will be outdoors. We do suggest brining a jacket.

Answer

There are many accommodation options available close to the venue. Please see our page on Travel for suggestions and more information.

12. Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We are not providing transportation as the ceremony and reception are at the same location and there is plenty of parking available. If you do not wish to drive, we suggest contacting one of the shuttle services below. 13. Is there parking available?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at the venue.

14. What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan on arriving at 2:00 pm to give yourself time to find a seat by 2:30 pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 3:00 pm.

15. Can I take photos?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night!

16. What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After we say "I do", we welcome you to join us for cocktail hour on the lawn (weather dependent). We will take our seats for dinner at 5:30.

17. Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Some wine and other alcoholic beverages will be served free of charge. After that, alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Card facilities are available.

18. What time does the reception end?

Answer

The reception will end promptly at midnight.

19. Can I bring my own booze (car bar)?

Answer

As fun as a car bar can be, unfortunately, bringing your own alcohol onto the premises is strictly forbidden and a hefty fine of R15 000 will be charged if you are caught. These are the venue's rules, not ours! We appreciate your support in this matter.
