We're getting married!

Every great love story has a beginning, and ours started back in 2011 when Keagan moved across the road from Abigail. What could have been just a coincidence quickly turned into fate when Abigail’s mom invited Keagan over for a swim—much to her embarrassment! Not long after, Keagan sent Abigail a simple text that would spark the start of something beautiful: “Hey neighbour.” From that moment, a friendship was born. For years, from 2011 to 2014, we were nothing more than friends—But in 2015, life shifted. Both our families were going through difficult times, which drew us closer together. Weekends turned into movie marathons until the early hours of the morning, and what started as friendship slowly blossomed into something more. We quickly became part of each other’s families. Abigail joined the Billson's for Sunday lunches, while Keagan became a regular at weeknight dinners with the Bourbon's. Somewhere along the way, Keagan gained a younger brother and Abigail gained an older one—two families became one. Over the years, we’ve shared so many milestones: 18th birthdays, matric farewells, 21sts, 30ths, graduations, and countless celebrations in between. We’ve also walked through hard times together—losing loved ones and supporting family members through illness. Through it all, our bond only grew stronger. In 2021, we took our next big step together and bought our first home. With a lot of paint, patience, and late nights, we renovated it and made it our own. The following year, our little family grew when we welcomed our fur-child, Honey, who instantly stole our hearts. Then, after nearly a decade of love and memories, Keagan proposed in August 2024 after a perfect day of wine tasting in the Midlands. Of course, Abigail said yes! And now, after almost 12 years together, we can’t wait to say “I do” in April 2026, back in the Midlands—a place that has become so special to us. We can't wait to share our special day with you all!
