Please RSVP by September 19th.
We encourage you to wear cocktail attire. (i.e. dresses and suits) But have fun with it! Our wedding is Spanish inspired, so don't be afraid of some color!
Please arrive at the church by 1:45 pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2 pm.
Ceremony -- There is only street parking available. You'll find spots along the park, which is across the church, and around the cross-section of Homer Ave. and Kipling St. Reception -- There is street parking directly in front of the venue. There is also a driveway where you can drop off passengers that leads to the main entrance. The venue does have a parking lot in the back, but it's shared with a Kid's Museum and there may not be any spots on a Saturday. We ask all guests to enter from the front of the venue.
Will there be hard liquor? No. Will there be beer and wine? Yes. Unfortunately the community center only allows beer and wine to be served at the venue. But don't fret thirsty friends, sake will be your saving grace. See, sake is made through the process of fermentation as opposed to distillation; as a result, it is not considered a spirit/liquor in the great US of A. You'll be able to have sake shots and Calpico-sake mixed drinks as a substitution for shots of liquor and cocktails. DO NOT bring your own liquor inside the community center. There will be a community center attendant present and you may be kicked out.
Before Friday (Oct 18) and after Saturday (Oct 19), you can hangout with Denise and Kevin in Alameda! Message either one of them a few days prior if you're planning on swinging by.
The Zola website template forces all text to be center-aligned. It also doesn't allow the option to add bold, italics, or underlines to differentiate sections, sorry. You can complain about it to Kevin in person.
