I will continue to keep your name/spirit alive by visiting your grave site and bugging your son about all the good things you did when you were here on earth. Like I promised to you on our first meeting at the memorial site, I will take great care of your son. I will make sure he eats his veggies, exercise, and pray to our Lord and Savior. There is a love that a father has for his son that is very hard to put into words. I never knew mine and I wanted to make sure that same story was not going to be told by my son. I've watched this young man grow, I've watched him make mistakes, and the beauty of it all, is just being there to see him live his life. One of my proudest moments as his father was watching him graduate, and him realizing that his hard work is why he was able to accomplish that. He has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know and he is always ready to talk your ears off. There is no way I could have this special moment in my life happen without him by my side.

He always make sure you know his opinion no matter the people talking, and he is always plotting something. I was honored to be there when he graduated bootcamp and became a Marine, one of the proudest moments of my life and I know his as well. Always joking, and plotting but always caring. I couldn't ask for a more compasionate person, and loving son to be a part of my special day. I am grateful and honored to share this moment in time with him.

My youngest brother who is always grinding and making sure he puts himself in all the right positions. Watching this young man grow up and take ownership of his life, knowing how hard he worked and helped take care of the people in his life, makes me proud to have been able to see him become the man that he is today. I can still remember when he use to suck his thumb and play with my ears as a child and sometimes when I see him, I still see that little boy. I wish we could spend more time together, I'm happy that we continue to have a relationship and I am happy that he has agreed to share this moment with me in September.
