Eddy was the one to introduce us in 2017 and has been the most important person in our friendship, and eventual relationship, ever since. Through our best and worst moments, long distance, moving in together, late nights, and early mornings, Eddy has been by our side, encouraging and supporting us. He shares our love for music, adventure, seeing the world. We've known he would be the one to marry us since the day we began dating in 2021, and more honestly, many years even before that 🩵

Parents of the Bride
Mark & Leslie are Kelly’s parents, splitting their time in Scottsdale, Arizona and the Outer Banks, North Carolina. They met Carlos sporadically on chaotic FaceTimes over the years, but more officially during Kelly’s 29th birthday in Cincinnati when Carlos was visiting Kelly as her “not boyfriend”
Claudia & Carlos Alvarez
Parents of the Groom
Claudia and Carlos are Carlos’ parents. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, they now reside in Katy, Texas. Kelly met (OG) Carlos at Carlos' greencard ceremony in 2019 and Claudia on a family vaca to Galveston, TX in 2021. Claudia and Carlos will be celebrating Kelly & Carlos at the Chicago Wedding in September!

Casey is Kelly’s cousin. He is Kelly & Carlos’ chaperone/supervisor whenever they’re in Chicago and more recently around the world too

Cata is Carlos' best friend from the University of Florida. She lives in Gainesville, Florida with her husband Jose.

Daniela is Carlos' younger sister. She lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Fernando and their 3 year old (cowboy boot wearing) son, Matias.
Aleja Vargas
Groomswoman
Aleja is Carlos' cousin. She was born just four days after him, and they were inseparable during their childhood. She currently lives in Mexico City with her little dog Rolo.

Jack is Kelly's Cousin 🌸Jack asked for this role in our wedding years ago, and today we hold him to his ask. We know he will deliver on this MASSIVE responsibility like the (floral) king that he is 🌺

Raja is Kelly & Carlos’ 12 year old dog. Unfortunately she is not allowed to fly to Colombia so will be celebrating with us in spirit from New York City ❣️
