Pereira Airport (PEI)

<20 mins from the hotels/venue. How to get there: 1) If there is a direct flight to Pereira, take it! 2) If there isn’t, we recommend exploring round trip tickets to Bogotá (BOG) or Medellin (MDE). Then, a Colombian domestic flight to Pereira (PEI). This may be cheaper than booking a through flight to PEI with a layover in BOG/MDE (considered “international”). The domestic flight from both cities is less than 30 mins, and usually runs around $30-$100 on Avianca (United), Copa (United), or LATAM (Delta). Note: if you do layover in Bogota or Medellin, you will go through immigration there first, so give yourself plenty of time between flights.

Sazagua Pereira Hotel Boutique - SOLD OUT

The Sazagua Boutique Hotel & Spa is about 15 mins from the airport and 5 mins from the wedding venue. It is one of our favorites in the area and definitely gives 'ecolodge'. They have everything from standard rooms ($100/night) to full bungalows($350/night), a good restaurant, and a little rustic spa. Ensure you book at the PEREIRA location, not COCORA. We will have a shuttle picking up and dropping off here for all Wedding Events. It is walkable to Petra Santa and about 5 mins in an uber from Visus.

Visus Hotel Boutique & Spa - 2 Rooms Available

Hotel Visus is a boutique hotel about 15 mins from the airport and 7 mins from our wedding venue. It is a little more luxurious than the others and thus runs a little more expensive. It is a small modernized hacienda with only 7 rooms, a spa, pool, restaurants, and bar. We recommend the spa here whether or not you choose to stay at this hotel! The discount code will get you the following rates per night: Romantic Suite: 1,158,300cop / approx $275 USD Junior Suites: 1,012,500cop / approx $240 USD Standard Double: 826,200cop / approx $197 USD Note if you are booking with a Colombian passport, these rates do NOT include the 19% IVA, so that will be incremental to these costs. There are tons of amazing large houses to rent on Airbnb within a few minutes of the venue in Cerritos, which may be ideal for larger groups. We will not be sending shuttles to/from rented houses, so please plan to Uber to one of the other shuttle locations or directly to the events. There will be space to park at the welcome party and wedding should you choose to rent a car and drive! UBERS vs. TAXI

We recommend taking UBERs instead of yellow taxis when you can, so you have a locked fair and to help with language barriers :) where they apply. Sometimes an UBER driver may ask you or someone in your party to sit in the front seat, this is normal, go ahead and do so.
