At the Baroja residence in Suisun, I was sitting around the kitchen table with some of the cousins, and we heard KB and Oscar call each other “babe”; I’ll never forget the looks we all exchanged as we mouthed the word to each other, giggled excitedly, and looked on as they held hands and interacted. Seeing the affection KB and Oscar had for each other was super sweet, and made me feel certain he was the right one for her. What song tends to tear you up? So many! Tell a story about Kristine and/or Oscar. I knew who Ate was dating even before Mike did all because I happened to be on Venmo and connected the dots when Mike said that Ate was going to a Warriors game with a date. We first met Oscar a couple weeks later at a bar in the city after Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I'm so glad my persistence (and let's be real, obvious excitement; Mike's excitement was outwardly more subdued, but I can tell he was also super giddy) paid off, and we got to meet Oscar that night and had hot pot together the next day. From then on, the rest was history. Oscar has really been a rock in the family - not many people would stick around throughout everything life threw at us, but I'm glad that he's been here for our family. Are you more or less romantic than most people? More romantic! I love a good love story - in books, romcoms, or real life! Who's going to cry more during the wedding, Kristine or Oscar? Both, but Oscar will start crying first.
