When Kristen was 16, her mom showed her a photo of Donnie on his MySpace. "Look how cute he is! He plays guitar!" She knew of him through a mutual friend, and even though she *claims* she wasn't trying to set them up — she was. Having a boyfriend at the time, Kristen was not interested in the slightest. Fast forward a short 2 years to 2010 and Kristen and Donnie ended up both working at the Apple Store in Santa Rosa. They connected over their shared love of music and singing (Kristen’s mom called it) and became fast friends. It was not love at first sight, however. Kristen thought Donnie was way too "So-Cal" for her (he had just moved back to Sonoma County from Long Beach) and Donnie thought Kristen could really use a little more time in the sun. It didn't take long, though — and they became inseparable. They have been through their fair share of ups and downs but neither ever doubted that this day would eventually come. They have grown together and could not be more excited to share this day with all of the people who have always been there.
