Scott and Katy’s story began on Super Bowl Sunday in 2022, a night neither of them could have predicted would change their lives. While celebrating with her Maid of Honor and law school friends, Katy joined the girls for a quick trip to the apartment hot tub. That’s where she spotted Scott. Never one to hesitate, she introduced herself right away (and made sure he knew just how good he looked!). As the night unfolded, they found themselves drawn to each other, talking long after everyone else had gone. Scott asked her to dinner the very next day. It just so happened to be Valentine’s Day. Scott often reflects on how if it weren't for Katy's extroversion and high energy, they may have never connected (many of Katy's friends, including the Maid of Honor, share this sentiment).
