How and when should I RSVP?

Please RSVP by May 15, 2026. You can do so by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. Simply type your name and all invited guest within your party will appear to mark “attending” or “declining.” Early responses are greatly appreciated. Please note that only guests who RSVP by the deadline will be able to attend.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate this via the RSVP tab before the deadline so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What happens if I don’t RSVP on time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by the date provided, it will be marked as “No.” We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guests counts to the venue and vendors in a timely manner. Due to this we cannot accept late RSVP’s. This will mean you cannot show up to our special day. There will be no seating, food, or beverage accommodations for you.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and include the names of the children who are invited. Though, we encourage you to use this evening as a date night. For families attending, we just ask that little ones head home before 9 p.m. so the grown-ups can hit the dance floor and keep the party going!

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at The Grove Carthage (1701 W Fairview Ave, Carthage, MO 64836). The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, while the reception will flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. A tent will be set up to keep guests comfortable and covered, rain or shine.

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes! There is a designated parking lot at our venue that will be reserved for guests. Please take into account that you cannot leave your vehicle overnight. Carpooling or uber is strongly encouraged.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30. We ask guests arrive 15-30 minutes early. This will give you time to find your seat and settle in.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away during our ceremony. We have a professional photographer capturing every moment, and we want you to be fully present with us. Plus, phones in the air can get in the way of the photos we’ll cherish forever. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like, and don’t forget to share them with us!

Question

Answer

The dress code is cocktail garden party. Ladies may wear long or short dresses, and gentlemen may wear khakis or dress pants with a collared shirt (no jeans, please). For more details, visit the Guest Attire tab.
