Question

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

The sooner the better so we are able to plan accordingly! We are asking no later than August 20th.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Of course. We just ask that you let us know if you will be bringing your children (and how many) in case we need to update invitation addressing. If we are unsure we will address just you or your and your spouse/partner.

Question

What is the dress code for a Catholic Wedding?

Answer

We would love to have your dress up and wear suits/dresses, or otherwise formal attire. Colorado weather is unpredictable and while we are praying for warm weather, we recommend bringing a jacket! There is no specific dress code for Catholic church, but it is generally recommended that guests wear clothing that is respectful and modest. If you are wearing a dress that is low-cut or has much of the upper body exposed, a shawl or wrap could be a grand addition to your ensemble. Please no dresses that leave too much of the lower body exposed either!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If it was designated on your RSVP, you can bring a plus one! If not, please reach out to us and we can let you know.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Unfortunately, there will be no transportation to or from St. Mark's in Highland's Ranch to St. Gabriel's in Colorado Springs, but there will be plenty of parking spaces available. This is usually the peak season in Colorado of color changing leaves, and we encourage you to enjoy the scenery! There will be about a 3-hour break in between the wedding ceremony and the start of the reception. No transportation to or from the reception will be provided, but encourage carpooling and hotel accommodations if needed.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 1pm, so please arrive between 12:40 and 12:55pm.

Question

What if I have dietary needs?

Answer

There will be a mediterranean cuisine is intended to accomodate a large range of dietary needs. Many appetizers should fit into vegetarian/vegan diets and others will be gluten-free and dairy free. We encourage guests to ask the waitstaff if clarifications are needed for any specific dishes.
