We ask that you kindly RSVP by February 28, 2026!
We recommend flying into José María Córdova International Airport (MDE). Many major airlines, including American Airlines, Copa, Delta, Avianca, JetBlue, and more offer direct or connecting flights to MDE. For our New York guests, Avianca is the only airline that offers non-stop flights to Medellin.
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed on the invitation. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people on the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding!
We'll miss you! Please RSVP "No" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
We've secured a group code "BODAKAYLINYMICHAEL" at The Binn Hotel to help keep everyone together. Please note this code is valid for reservations between May 19th - May 27th. While we'd love for everyone to stay at The Binn, we understand that budgets vary. Medellín offers a wide range of accommodation options, so feel free to explore! We simply encourage you to do your due diligence and read in-depth reviews before booking any hotel or Airbnb.
For our wedding we are requesting Formal Garden Party attire, so we'd love to see you in your best dressed-up look! For the men, we are asking you wear a suit (light or dark colors) and for women midi or floor-length dresses in fun spring colors or prints. Please keep in mind the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception indoors. For your convenience, I've created a Pinterest board that has some outfit ideas: https://pin.it/3MqCceijC
We kindly ask that you please avoid wearing white, ivory, or cream dresses and suit jackets.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception indoors. We will have shade and fans as needed, but please dress accordingly.
Yes! We will be providing transportation from The Binn Hotel (our meeting point) to the wedding venue. The venue is about a 30-minute drive from the hotel. Buses will be picking up guests at The Binn Hotel and will also provide return transportation back to The Binn after the reception. We'll share more details about bus schedules and pickup times as we get closer to the wedding date, so keep an eye out for updates!
Our top recommendation for navigating Medellín is using Uber. A ride from the airport to the city center typically costs around $30-$40 USD, while trips within the city itself are usually under $10 USD. However, please note that Ubers are technically "illegal." While widely used and generally safe, Uber operates in a bit of a gray area. Drivers can occasionally receive tickets if police perceive them to be operating as Ubers. To minimize any potential issues, we recommend ordering Uber Comfort or Uber Black. These services often use vehicles with tinted windows, which can offer a bit more discretion. Occasionally, a driver might ask you to sit in the front seat – this is a common practice and nothing to be concerned about. As always, please make sure you confirm license plates before getting in any ride-sharing vehicle.
The weather is generally pleasant, with days averaging in the high 70s to low 80s and comfortable evenings, dipping into the low 60s. It's springtime, so you might see some occasional showers, but they tend to be brief and don't usually last all day.
