Flight

Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW)

Midway and O'Hare Airports are both about a 30-minute drive from downtown Chicago and our venue, so both are great options! Midway is a hub for Southwest flights -though Southwest also now flies to O'Hare- but Midway still has more/cheaper Southwest flights. We always use Lyft or Uber to get from Midway to the city, but if you're on a tighter budget, you can take the train for $2.50 per person! The Orange Line will get you from Midway to the downtown Loop. If you are staying at one of our blocked hotels in River North, transfer from the Orange to the Red Line at Roosevelt Station, then take the Red Line to Grand Station, which is only a 3-minute walk to the hotels.

Flight

Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

Midway and O'Hare Airports are both about a 30-minute drive from downtown Chicago and our venue, so both are great options! Flights into O'Hare are usually cheaper than Midway for any airlines besides Southwest. We always use Lyft or Uber to get from O'Hare to the city, but if you're on a tighter budget, you can take the train for $2.50 per person! The Blue Line will get you from O'Hare into the downtown Loop. If you are staying at one of our blocked hotels, the closest stop will be to get off at Clark/Lake, and walk about 10 minutes to the hotel; the walk is BEAUTIFUL!

Train

Amtrak

Amtrak has some great, inexpensive routes, especially from St. Louis. Take the train into Chicago Union Station (CHI), which is located in the downtown Loop, just 10 minutes driving from the hotel blocks in River North. The best way to get from the train station to the blocked hotels is Lyft or Uber; or a very pleasant 30-minute walk across the Chicago River and through the beautiful downtown!
