The Great Minnesota Get-Together!
Giant mall with hundreds of stores, plus restaurants, a theme park, cinema & aquarium!
West End is a fun spot nearby the hotels for food, drinks, and entertainment. Grab brunch at Hope Breakfast Bar, sushi at Raku, or dinner at CRAVE, The Loop, or Yard House. You’ll also find boutique shops, public art, and activities like bowling and karaoke at Punch Bowl Social.
St. Anthony Main is one of our favorite spots in the city. Take a walk along the river, visit Mill Ruins Park, or grab brunch at Aster Café, Jefe, or Nicollet Island Inn. You’ll also find skyline views, cobblestone streets, and plenty of patios to relax and enjoy.
Lake of the Isles connects to a scenic chain of lakes, including Bde Maka Ska, Cedar Lake, and Lake Harriet. Walk or bike the paths for peaceful views and photo ops. Nearby spots like The Lowry, Nico’s Taco, and Sebastian Joe’s are great for a bite or ice cream. It’s one of our favorite places—and where Kaylie lived when we just started dating!
North Loop is one of our favorite neighborhoods for a day or night out. It’s walkable and full of great restaurants like Spoon and Stable, Bar La Grassa, and Smack Shack. Grab drinks at Modist Brewing or Inbound BrewCo, browse local shops, or stroll the riverfront. With rooftop patios and historic buildings, it’s a fun spot to explore.
Spend a morning on the trails or beach at Clifton E. French Regional Park on Medicine Lake, or take a peaceful walk through the Millennium Garden with its sculptures and labyrinth. For food and drinks, check out Northern Taphouse for burgers and legendary Bloody Marys, grab coffee and pastries at The Fox & Pantry, or settle in at Sunshine Factory Bar & Grill. Wind down with a charcuterie board at Bar Luce or a cold craft beer at Luce Line Brewing.
