Izla Hotel by Fiesta Americana Isla Mujeres
Guests are welcome to stay anywhere on Isla Mujeres! We recommend choosing accommodations in the general area of IZLA Hotel, as it is within walking distance of our wedding venue and will make getting to and from the festivities much more convenient. There are plenty of hotels, boutique stays, and Airbnbs nearby to fit a variety of preferences and budgets. If you choose to stay at IZLA Hotel, we encourage booking early, as availability may become limited. Please note that guests who are not staying at IZLA will need to purchase a day pass if they wish to access the hotel's amenities or property. Wondering how long you should stay? The bride & groom will be present from 2/10 to 2/17, but there is no minimum requirement for your stay!

CARM Shuttle
CARM Shuttle will be our preferred airport transportation company. They will take guests from the Cancun Airport to Puerto Juarez, where you’ll catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Both the shuttle ride and ferry ride are approximately 20 minutes. Once on the island, you’ll need to take a taxi from the ferry terminal to the hotel. Please see the link below (coming soon) to book your roundtrip shuttle and ferry tickets, and don’t forget to order cervezas for the journey!

Cancun International Airport
To get to Isla Mujeres, you will need to fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). Before booking flights, please review the CARM shuttle information above, as ferry service to the island does not operate 24 hours a day.
Travel Note
Golf Carts & Taxis
Transportation on Isla Mujeres comes in several forms, with the most popular being the use of golf carts or taxis. We highly recommend your party rent a golf cart at some point during your stay! If desiring to rent a golf cart upon arrival, you can: 1. Use WhatsApp to contact Joaquin Golf Cart Rental at +52-999-900-0808. Using Google Translate they will take reservations. 2. Take a taxi to near the boat docks where there is an abundance of various golf cart rental shops for you to utilize. 3. Rent a golf cart at IZLA hotel by the day! Cost is a bit higher than what it is downtown, but the convenience is worth it!

Helpful Travel Tips
Make sure your passports are ready to go! We recommend exchanging some US dollars for pesos or withdrawing pesos from an ATM upon arrival. While many places accept US dollars, paying in pesos will often provide better pricing and make transactions easier. Not all businesses on the island accept credit cards, so it is best to carry some cash with you. Consider bringing small bills for taxis, tips, and local vendors.
