Welcome Drinks

6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Welcome to Mexico! Join the bride and groom for drinks at La Carbonera 22, or as we like to call it "Captain Dan's". Come mingle, settle into vacation mode, and kick off the wedding weekend with us.

Golf Cart Scavenger Hunt

10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Explore Isla Mujeres with us on a golf cart scavenger hunt! Spend the day cruising around the island, completing fun challenges, finding hidden items, and snapping photos at iconic spots along the way. Teams will receive a list of items to collect and photo prompts to complete throughout the afternoon. We’ll meet back up around 4:00 PM to tally points, celebrate the winners, and hand out a prize to the top team. Participants will be placed into teams of four once sign-ups are complete. Each person participating will need to purchase a ticket using the link below (coming soon).

Sunday Funday

6:00 pm

After a late night of karaoke, Sunday is all about slowing down and enjoying paradise at your own pace. Spend Valentine’s Day soaking up the sun, exploring Isla Mujeres, hanging by the pool, or just spending time with your favorite people before the big day arrives. For our wedding party and family participating in the ceremony, we’ll meet on the IZLA Hotel beach at 10:00 AM for a quick rehearsal. Later that evening, anyone interested is welcome to join us at Snapper’s to watch the Super Bowl together!

Wedding

5:15 pm - 11:15 pm

Lightweight fabrics and beach-friendly footwear are encouraged. Feel free to embrace tropical colors and prints for the occasion! A shoe drop will also be available before the ceremony for guests who’d like to enjoy the sand barefoot.

Please plan to arrive at the venue by 5:15 PM, as our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:45 PM. Guests may enjoy the short 10-minute walk to Velavento Beach Club, or taxis will be available to shuttle guests to and from the venue. Dinner, drinks, and dancing to follow the ceremony.

Recovery Day

8:00 am

Tuesday is a chance to recharge and enjoy one last day in paradise. Whether that means poolside cocktails, a beach nap, shopping around Isla Mujeres, or doing absolutely nothing at all, the day is yours. We’ll be heading off the island on the 17th, but we’d love to soak up a few more memories with everyone before then.

At-Home Celebration

4:00 pm

PLEASE NOTE: The date listed here is tentative, a separate invitation will be sent out once we have more details. We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding in Mexico, but we also understand that a destination trip isn’t possible for everyone. To celebrate with all the people we love, we’ll also be hosting a reception back home in Minnesota, and we hope you’ll join us there!
