FAQs

Question

How have the wedding plans changed due to COVID-19?

Answer

For the safety of our family and friends we have split our wedding into two separate events. Our ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 12th 2020, and the quest list will be limited to close family and the bridal party. We hope that the rest of our family and friends will join us virtually on this day as well. With the hope to celebrate with ALL of our family and friends, our reception has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 11th 2021. We have sent out save the dates to reflect this new date for our guests. When the new date comes closer a formal invitation to the reception will be sent out.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Ceremony and Reception are at the same venue. There will be ample parking for all. You can also leave your car overnight if need be.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have hotel accommodations at Best Western in Burnsville.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We carefully planned our guest list so that we could get as many close friends and family at our wedding as possible. If your invitation has a "plus one" on it you are more than welcome to bring a date. If not, please refrain from bringing an extra guest.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting). The reception will be held indoors.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding or other wedding events on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures onto their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #HoweToBeAnOlson so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
