HOW DO I BOOK MY ROOM ON YOUR ROOM BLOCK? Please see the Hotel section on the Travel page of this website for more details including a link to the room block.
WHEN DO I NEED TO RSVP BY? Kindly reply using the RSVP page by June 30.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE? Yes, please dress to celebrate and not to lounge. We know Hawaii is laid back but it's still a wedding and we would love for our family and friends to dress up with us! Suggested attire for the wedding is cocktail to formal with a "Sunset Paradise" theme in colors that reflect Hawaii. Think vibrant colorful flowy dresses, breezy suits, and footwear for grass... Please avoid dressing too casual, wearing sandals, shorts and the color white. In classic Kayleen fashion, she made a MOOD BOARD for Wedding Guest Attire. Let her know if you'd like to see it for some inspo!
IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO THE WEDDING? Yes, we are providing shuttles for all of our guests to and from the wedding venue! DO I HAVE TO RIDE ON THE SHUTTLE TO THE WEDDING? No, feel free to get to the wedding venue however you wish. However, please plan accordingly and keep the newlyweds updated on your plans so that they have an accurate headcount for the shuttle driver. The wedding venue has parking and is ~40 minutes away from Waikiki.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE WEDDING VENUE? The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m. Please plan to arrive no later than 4:00 p.m. to allow time to park, enter the venue and find a seat.
ARE KIDS WELCOME? While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults only event. We kindly ask that you only bring those formally invited on your invitation. We hope this gives everyone a chance to enjoy a night off... and a kid-free vacation!
CAN I TAKE PICTURES? We kindly request an Unplugged Ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is to be truly present with us during this special moment. We kindly ask that you turn off all cell phones and put them away during the ceremony so that you can enjoy this moment with us. We have hired an amazing photography team to document every detail of the wedding. Feel free to take photos before and after the ceremony, especially during the reception!
ARE THERE OTHER EVENTS THAT I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? Yes! We have planned a Welcome Party on Saturday to kick off the wedding weekend, as well as other optional events for our family and friends to enjoy! All event details, including additional optional events, can be found on the Schedule page.
WHAT AM I FORGETTING? This is a very important reminder to please make sure you have a REAL ID before flying to Hawaii! To board domestic flights starting May 7, 2025, every person must have a REAL ID or U.S. Passport.
