The Tulum Ruins, known as Zona Arqueológica de Tulum, are a breathtaking testament to the grandeur of the ancient Mayan civilization. Perched majestically on a cliff overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, this archaeological site offers a unique glimpse into the past. Tulum, once a bustling port city, was a vital hub for trade and commerce during the Mayan period.
The Yucatán Peninsula is famous for its cenotes - natural sinkholes filled with freshwater. Tulum has several cenotes in its vicinity, offering visitors the opportunity to swim, snorkel, or dive in these mystical underground pools. Cenote Dos Ojos and Gran Cenote are among the most popular ones.
Lay in a cabana, order some food, and sip a pina colada on the beach...a dream! Some of our favorites are Ana y Jose (where we'll be staying!), Ziggy's, and Rosa Negra. There are many more, so feel free to explore! Please note that most beach clubs have a minimum food/beverage spend or entry fee which is put toward your bill.
