Pikes Peak is the historic mountain that Kaylee grew up looking at every day! You can take the Cog to the top! (make sure you try the hot chocolate and donuts! And don't worry - even in the heat of August, it will be freezing at the top!!)

Kaylee's parents are best friends with Dennis and Joann - the owners of the family restaurant! Dennis was Jarle's best man in their wedding in 1984!
Garden of the Gods
Driving through the Garden of the Gods is one of the most beautiful drives you will take in Colorado Springs. Kaylee took many, many drives through the beautiful scenery throughout her life.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is one of the largest in the US, built on the side of Cheyenne Mountain! HUGE giraffe exhibit, orangutans, elephants, hippos.....any animal you can think of! See them all with a gorgeous view of the city!
The Promenade Shops At Briargate
We know when women travel, the first thing they find is the shopping! The Shops at Briargate is Kaylee's favorite place to shop in the Springs. It has Sephora, Victoria's Secret, Express, Pottery Barn, Starbucks etc.......what else would you need??
North Pole Colorado Santa’s Workshop
Did you know that right in the Rocky Mountains, is where Santa lives?? Such a sweet place that the kiddos can see Santa, Ms. Clause, and all the elves and reindeer any time of the year!
Cave of the Winds
Take a walk through the old caves....bats, stalactites (crystals that cling TITE to the ceiling) and stalagmites (be careful, you MITE trip on them), drippy rocks, and beautiful views of the West Side of Colorado Springs. If you're feeling gutsy...take a ride on the swing that swings you out over the canyon!
Phantom Canyon Brewing Company
One of Kaylee's favorites! Make sure to get a local brew or bloody mary, and the cheddar mashed potatoes!
Old Colorado City
See the culture of Old Colorado City! Just taking a night walk, and getting ice cream at the old yellow house is one of Kaylee's favorite things!
Manitou Springs
Cute little shops, restaurants, art galleries, and Colorado Culture! NEEDING A GOOD WORKOUT WHILE IN TOWN?? Try running the Manitou Incline!!
Fargo's Pizza Co
At Fargo's was the first place K & G ever laid eyes on each other. Fargo's is the setting of the infamous chocolate ice cream incident. This place has held MANY a Wood Family party - as it was Mamaw Laila's favorite place! It is only fitting that you visit Fargo's while in the Springs. Make sure to order Pepperoni Pizza (the pepperoni's are tiny!) and you HAVE to get the homemade chocolate ice cream to feed to your date!!
