Rashawn and I are cousins, but we didn't really know each other until we were about eight years old. The moment that he and I started our friendship, he became like a brother to me. We did everything together every chance we got. I remember when his family moved away from Virginia, I was so sad, but he made more friends that eventually became mine as well. Even after Rashawn moved away we still continued to talk everyday, and our friendship never changed, besides us maturing and growing closer throughout the years.

Crystal and I met in middle school, and we have always been close. However, over the past two years, our friendship has blossomed more than we would've ever imagined. We spend more days together than not, and are as close as can be! Crystal cried more on the day I got engaged than I did, so I can only imagine how she will be on our wedding day. She offers such a pure, loving friendship that I have longed for my entire life.

I became friends with Tyler when I started school at William Campbell in 2019. We rode the school bus together and came to find out that we had a lot in common. He and I became close friends very quickly, and still hang out all the time. He is one of my closest friends.

Mary-Michael and I have been best friends since middle school, and have been through all of the fazes together. She is the one friend that no matter how many things change in our lives, the one consistent thing is our friendship and our love for one another. We spent nearly every day together for about five years and grew up together! Our friendship has never changed, although we don't see each other every day anymore, and I am so thankful for my "forever friend!"

Donavon is one of the friends that I gained through Rashawn's move to Indiana. We met through gaming together, and when we met in person we had an instant connection. We have become very close over the past few years and is now one of my closest friends.

Brooke is the ultimate matchmaker! She is the one responsible for this entire wedding! Brooke and I have been friends for so long, and the both of us have changed in many ways since we met! Brooke is always down for anything! She is also Craig's cousin, so I am so excited to call her my cousin!

Gabriel is another friend that I met through Rashawn. We also met through gaming, and have spent some time together in person when possible. He has become a very close friend over the years.

Asya and I have been friends since middle school, but back then our friendship consisted more of arguing over Duke and UNC during basketball season. Now, our friendship is much sweeter, and one of my most cherished. Asya is a friend who points me to Jesus daily and has become a wonderful confidant.

Eli and I became friends in 2019 as well. He was friends with Tyler, so he became my friend through that. We ended up forming a friend group of the three of us, and we have spent a lot of time together throughout the years. Eli and I have become very close and he is now one of my closest friends.

Amya and I's friendship started in the sixth grade. We have both grown very different since then, and our friendship has constantly gotten sweeter. Amya is always the life of the party, and she can make anyone laugh. I am blessed to have a friend like her by my side on my wedding day!
