Maid of Honor
Emma and I met at Vincennes University (where we went to college together) and majored in the same degree. I asked Emma to be my Maid of Honor because I honestly couldn't imagine anyone else in that spot. Emma and I got super close the last 2 years of my educational journey at VU and man am I thankful.
Best Man
Brandon and I met at our local model train club, and we became good friends shortly after. I chose him to be my Best Man, because he is a true and honest friend and he cares for Kayleah and I. (Kayleah and Brandon call each other best friends)
Matron of Honor
Ashley and I met at Vincennes University (where we went to college together) and majored in the same degree. We actually first met in math class (Math for Elementary Teachers 2). Ashley messaged me on Instagram after our first class and said, "I feel like we are going to get close this semester." We sure did. I am so thankful for how far our friendship has come and she rightfully has the spot of Matron of Honor.
Groomsman
Aaron and I met in Centralia, Illinois while photographing trains with my closest friend, Brodie. Since that day we have established a good friendship by going on train trips and teaching each other different things about trains. I chose Aaron as a Groomsman, because him and I have always had a well-balanced friendship.
Bridesmaid
Abby is my little sister and quite honestly my best friend. Abby and I have been through a lot together and I couldn't image her not standing up there with me on my special day. Abby has supported me through everything and has been there for me through it all. I love you sissy.
Groomsman
Rylin and I met at our local model train club. We share many interests in railroad history around the area. We have been on a few train trips together with many more to come. I chose Rylin to be a Groomsman, because Rylin feels like a brother to us. He has a very caring heart towards Kayleah & I.
Bridesmaid
Claire and I met at Vincennes University (where we went to college together) and majored in the same degree. We actually first met at CCF and were introduced to each other as the "Education majors". Claire became my best friend, and I got an amazing opportunity to be a Bridesmaid in her wedding. Claire is someone that has also always supported me through it all and was a huge cheerleader in my finish line to finally getting my degree! I couldn't image having another person standing up there with me on my wedding day.
Groomsman
Greg, commonly referred as Smitty is one of our best friends. We met him in the small train community of La Plata, Missouri. Ever since becoming friends, Smitty has always been good for making Kayleah & I laugh with his comedic personality and has been nothing more than caring for Kayleah & I's relationship. Smitty has established Kayleah's nickname as 'Princess' after I woke Kayleah up early for a day of trains.
Bridesmaid
(Lol Ila and I have no good photos of us that are recent so here is a picture from when we were kids... haha) Anyways... I have called Ila my built-in best friend since she was born. Funny story. My mom and her mom are best friends. My middle name is after Ila's mom and Ila also has the same middle name as me. There is a video on Facebook of me meeting Ila for the first time when I was like 3 years old saying, "Hi baby, I'm Kayleah" and then I said her name as I just glanced down at her. Ila and I were childhood best friends. We did everything together (concerts, going to see plays, just hanging out, etc.). I thought it was very fitting to have Ila be a Bridesmaid in my wedding and be kind of a full circle moment because my mom was in her mom's wedding as well.
Groomsman
Cody & I became good friends through the large train community around Southern Illinois. We have been on many really good trips such as riding Amtrak to Chicago or taking Cody to his favorite train town known as Galesburg. I chose Cody to be a Groomsman, because he is like a younger brother to me. He has always been supportive of Kayleah & I.
Bridesmaid
Olivia at I met at Creston Middle School in 7th grade in Miss. Flecker's Language Arts class. Olivia became my best friend, and we did everything together. We would always hang out outside of school and we went to the movies, got our nails done, went bowling, etc. Olivia and I did choir/showchoir together and we both graduated in 2019 from Warren Central. Olivia and I always said that we would grow old together and be in the same nursing home beating each other with canes haha.
Groomsman
Zach is one of the nicest and most hilarious people I know. I have known Zach since I was around nine years old. When I was 15, he found me at my great-grandma's house watching trains in the front yard and he gave me a train hat while I was outside waiting for the next train to pass. Since then, I have considered Zach my older brother. We have been on tons of trips to all over the place... from Indiana, to Ohio, to even as far as Nebraska. I chose Zach to be a Groomsman because of his wonderful personality. He has always been there for me if I need someone to talk to.
Bridesmaid
McKennah and I met once I moved to Fairfield with Logan at a summer day camp for K-8th graders called Kids In Motion. McKennah and I got super close when honestly I didn’t think we would. Our poor director of Kids In Motion had to deal with us for 9 weeks haha because we ended up calling each other “The Dynamic Duo”. McKennah is the only person that I have gotten super close with since coming to Fairfield and I am so thankful. I couldn’t imagine my Kennah not being next to me on my big day even if I have only known her for a short time.
Groomsman
Austin, more commonly known as ‘Big Boy’ is a true friend of mine. We met through other friends in the train community. We haven’t known each other incredibly long, but we are sure good at sharing laughs and going on many trips to see trains. I chose Austin to be a groomsman, because we share a lot of interests and I know he will always be a caring friend to Kayleah & I from this day forward.
