Kayla and Holly met in 6th grade and solidified their relationship at a sleepover where they watched Stephen King’s IT mini series and did some preteen adolescent witchcraft rituals which resulted in Holly accidentally dumping an entire bowl of hot wax all over Kayla’s hand. They have been friends ever since.
Johnny
Bridesman
Johnny and Kayla met when they were 6 years old, their bond solidified when they got in trouble in first grade for showing their bellybuttons to each other at recess and were told they were not allowed to play together for the rest of the school year. Twenty years later, they attended a milestone anniversary of their elementary school (they had nothing else to do on a Friday night, I guess?) and waved smirkingly at that same first grade teacher who tried to separate them.
Brittany
Bridesmaid
Brittany and Kayla met in middle school. While Kayla was a grade ahead, it was Brittany who always pulled Kayla out of her comfort zone and tried to get her into a new adventure that she would not normally try. If Kayla came home from a day out with friends and regaled her mother with what sounded like the plot for 'Stand By Me', she would respond with a resounding sigh, "Brittany was there, wasn't she." Life’s challenges were crushed under Brittany’s determination, becoming the first of the bride squad group to move out of state for college
Courtney
Best Woman
Courtney and Tristan met over 15 years ago in college and have been inseparable ever since, except when they were actually separated when Tristan moved to Florida. They have constantly been asking each other for advice, supporting each other through big life changes, and finding new places for dinner and delicious drinks. They even kept up by streaming video games with each other over Twitch, just as an excuse to hang out more. (Tristan was contractually obligated to have her in his wedding since he was the unofficial Man of Honor in hers.)
Dylan
Groomsman
Dylan is the epitome of “What if Tristan, but turned up to 11?” While only meeting halfway through college, it has felt like they have been the same person their whole life. Tristan and Dylan have bonded over everything from obscure video game systems and games, absurd videos, and cooking some of the weirdest foods. Dylan is truly the Tom Bombadil to Tristan’s Peregrin Took.
Aaron
Groomsman
Aaron is truly the brother from another mother, although Aaron is actually Courtney’s younger brother. As one of the best DM’s around, Aaron has been one to keep the friend group together, offering to guide everyone through every adventure they can. Aaron is also an avid cook, 3D printing designer, and diehard video game fan. If they’re not playing together from states away, they’re probably laughing too hard at Lord of the Rings memes way too late into the night.
