Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request that all RSVPs are completed by April 27th. To RSVP and indicate your meal selection, please navigate to the RSVP tab.

What time do I need to arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 4:00-4:15pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. If you arrive earlier, you may be asked to wait outside of the venue until doors open. If you are traveling from the hotel, transportation will be provided to ensure you are on time to the ceremony.

Is transportation provided to and from the hotel?

Answer

Yes, a shuttle will be available to take guests from the Westin and the Courtyard to the Chicago History Museum prior to the start of the ceremony. Please be ready to board the bus at 3:30pm. At the end of the night, the shuttle will take guests back to their hotel immediately following the reception.

What is an unplugged wedding ceremony?

Answer

We are so excited that you'll be joining us, and we want you to relax and be fully present for our ceremony. With that in mind, we ask that you refrain from using your phones to take photos during the ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer who will capture every moment, and we'll make sure you see those photos as soon as we do!

Public parking is conveniently located one block north of the Museum at Clark and LaSalle Streets. Enter on Stockton Drive.

What is the dress code?

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

All wedding activities will take place indoors.

Will we have access to walk around the museum during the reception?

Answer

While the History Museum is an exciting place to explore, the museum will be closed to guests during the reception.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our goal is to celebrate our very special day with everyone that we love the most, therefore only those that are specifically named on the invitation are able to attend. Thank you so much for understanding!
