Things To Do

Harpers Ferry National Historical Park

171 Shoreline Drive, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425

A visit to this quaint, historic community, at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers, is like stepping into the past. Stroll the picturesque streets, visit exhibits and museums, or hike our trails and battlefields.

Weverton Cliffs

Appalachian National Scenic Trail, Knoxville, MD 21758

You can park at the Commuter Parking lot and then follow the path and/or cross the street for the trail head. Continue up the mountain following the Appalachian Trail following the markers until you get to the directional post where you turn to the blue trail to the cliffs. Amazing views from the top of the cliffs makes the hike up the trail worth it.

Harpers Ferry Brewing

37412 Adventure Center Lane, Purcellville, VA 20132

Overlooking the Potomac River Valley just downriver from the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers, the location couldn’t be much better. The beer is fantastic, but we don't recommend eating here.

Maggie Malick Wine Caves

12138 Harpers Ferry Road, Purcellville, VA 20132

Maggie Malick Wine Caves is a female-owned, boutique winery. They feature award-winning, estate-produced wines on 215 rolling acres in the shadow of Short Hill Mountain in the Between the Hills Valley. They won the Loudoun Wine Association Wine Maker of the Year 2021 award.

The Rabbit Hole

186 High Street, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425

Sharing plates, bar bites & build-your-own burgers in a cozy bar with wood furnishings & a terrace.

The Anvil Restaurant

1290 West Washington Street, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425

Cozy outpost specializing in crab dip, onion soup & other hearty dishes in a low-key setting.
