Glacier National Park requires a vehicle registration when entering the park at 7 AM and ends at 3 PM. If you are looking to enter the park in between these times, a portion of these reservations will be available 120 days in advance on Recreation.gov. There is little to no service in the park, please plan accordingly and take a map when you get to the park entrance station. We recommended downloading the National Park Service app and saving the Glacier page offline. A national Park pass or entrance pass is required to enter. A day pass is $35 per vehicle. Please bring adequate water, food, hiking gear and bear spray. You cannot fly with bear spray, but you are able to purchase it from the local grocery stores or even at the airport when you arrive. We recommend always bringing a raincoat/umbrella as the weather can be unpredictable and hiking poles if you’re planning on doing longer/more advanced hikes.
