One warm fall night in Reading, PA on September 8th, 2016...Kayla was new at Albright College as a wide-eyed freshman who happened to receive an invite from friends to go to a party hosted by the brothers of Pi Kappa Phi located in the house many students lovingly referred to as "1610". She had no idea that this random invite would lead her to meeting her future husband. At the time, Sean was a senior who claims he was 'over the party life' at that point in his college story so...he headed up to his room to escape. Little did he know that this was the night where he would find his future wife, with some friends, playing his guitar and singing songs on the little futon in his room at 1610. Even after a few failed attempts at getting together to share guitar knowledge, the two ended up not seeing one another much the rest of the Fall 2016 Semester. However, after their first date on February 15th, 2017, in a little cafe by Albright called 'Sweet Streets', and ending with a scenic drive uphill to the famous Reading Pagoda - as they say 'the rest was history'.

Downtown Nashville hosts a famous venue called the “The Mother Church” …aka the Ryman, which is considered the spiritual headquarters for American Country Music. The Grand Ole Opry Radio Show played here from 1941 to 1974. Kayla performs music all throughout the year at different venues, including around the Ryman - it is a dream of hers to play there one day. Knowing what this historic building meant to Kayla, Sean arranged for her to take a tour of the Ryman… where the last stop along the tour was a walk up to the stage; and that was where Sean was waiting for her, ready to bend the knee.

Without realizing until recently, the number 8 may just be the new lucky number for the Mr-&-Mrs-to-be. There's the significance of them already being together for 8 years by the day they get married, they met on 09.08.16, their dating anniversary is 03.05.17 (which was pointed out to them that 3+5=8), Kayla was born on the 8th of December, the phrase '808' (the date they say 'I do') happens to be a music term referring to describing any low, smooth bass line - which worked out to be a pretty funny coincidence too considering both of them work within the music/entertainment fields. Finally, the infinity symbol, a figure eight on its side, variously signifies the concept of limitlessness or eternity.
