The RiverFront combines three parks in the heart of downtown Omaha into one identity. After undergoing renovations, the three parks now connect, serving as a gathering space between the historic Old Market and vibrant north downtown Omaha. Gene Leahy Mall opened to the public on July 1, 2022, while Heartland of America Park and Lewis & Clark Landing opened on August 18, 2023.
Omaha’s Blackstone District has tons of great dining and nightlife options. Bowl a few frames and Bob and Willie's Wonderbowl (mini bowling) or sing your heart out in a private karaoke room at Reno's Karaoke. Blackstone District is home of the classic Reuben Sandwich. The American staple was created in the Blackstone District back in the 1920s and you can taste the original recipe at Crescent Moon (3578 Farnam St). Blackstone District makes up 35th-42nd, Harney-Farnam.
Omaha’s Old Market is a diverse area of shopping, dining and entertainment. It's great for families and couples during the day - check out the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. The night attracts a younger bar crowd and makes for great people watching. The Old Market makes up the area from 10th-14th, Leavenworth to Farnam.
