Kayla is the daughter of Chuck and Lorri Savidge. Sam is the son of Samuel J and Anita "Bunny" Caruso.

Our relationship began with a couple of right swipes on Facebook Dating (yep, it was a thing). Sam wooed Kayla with his smooth opening line of "Hey" and a few weeks of chatting led to a successful first date at The Stokin' Goat. After we said our goodbyes, Kayla got into her car to go home and immediately received a text from Sam asking about plans for our second date. Kayla giddily responded YES and from that night on, we never spent a weekend apart. With Sam in Omaha and Kayla in Lincoln, our weekends were spent in either city, where Kayla supplied Sam with Bath and Body Works wallflowers and Sam hauled cases of Diet Coke to Kayla's third floor apartment.
