What are the current wedding COVID restrictions?

Answer

At this moment in time (as of May 23): If you are fully vaccinated: masks are not required indoors or outdoors If you are NOT vaccinated: Masks ARE required indoors for unvaccinated people

Do I have to get a COVID test before the wedding?

Answer

We are requesting that each guest either be fully vaccinated or receive a COVID test prior to the wedding (can be either rapid or pcr). However, it is not currently required by the state of Connecticut.

Answer

Do I need to Quarantine after arriving in Connecticut?

Answer

Connecticut does not require anyone to quarantine who is arriving from another state. However, there are different rules for international travel - please refer to the government website: https://portal.ct.gov/coronavirus/travel

Do I have to wear a mask?

Answer

If you are not vaccinated, you do need to wear a mask indoors, unless seated at your table, eating, or drinking. If you are fully vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask indoors or outdoors.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Other than the children in our wedding party, we cannot accommodate young children at the wedding.  We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We definitely invite you to take pictures at the reception, however, we are requesting that our guests respect our decision to have an UNPLUGGED CEREMONY.  This means that we want you fully present in sharing our special moment through your own eyes and ears instead of through the lens of your phone or camera.  During the ceremony, you will be asked to turn off and put away your cell phones and cameras.  Thank you for understanding.

Will there be transportation between the venue and the hotel?

Answer

YES!! We have reserved a shuttle bus to escort you from the hotel to the wedding and back. The shuttle will leave the Courtyard by Marriott hotel at 3:45pm SHARP. The shuttle will then bring you back to the Courtyard by Marriott hotel after the wedding is over.
